im new to steam and i find the keyboard unplayable. the keyboard does offer better aim but not enuf to say the gamepad is worthless. what your describing is YOUR preferance and you are attempting to tell other ppl what THERE preferance should be.

I use Xpadder to map my gamepad buttons to the default L4D commands because L4D's support for gamepads is wonky (right analog stick won't change the perspective left. Even though I know a mouse and keyboard combination is best, all my friends play on the 360 and so I want to get good at using a gamepad. just because your better with a keyboard dosnt mean the gamepad only works on easy mode. So I recently purchased Left 4 Dead on PC. knowbody can even tell while they spectate. iv never been kicked for bad aim or not keeping up. i use a controller as it is easy for me compared to the keyboard. There's too much going on to be a helpful teammate using a controller. Using a 360 controller can be fun for a lot of games. Step 6: Continue playing using the keyboard & mouse
